Our story
Why Gold Star Accounting exists
Gold Star Accounting Ltd was founded in North Vancouver to offer something different from high-volume tax preparation: a boutique firm where clients work directly with an accountant who understands both the academic foundations of accounting and the practical realities of running a business or managing a household budget in British Columbia.
We work with individuals, families, self-employed workers, professionals, and incorporated businesses across North Vancouver, Vancouver, and the rest of BC — with a focus on clear communication, careful preparation, and a relationship that continues well beyond a single tax season.
Founder
Dr. Peiman Sadeghi
Dr. Peiman Sadeghi brings more than 15 years of international and Canadian accounting experience to Gold Star Accounting. He holds a PhD in Accounting and previously taught at the university level, giving him a deep, structured understanding of accounting principles that goes beyond day-to-day compliance work.
Before founding Gold Star Accounting, Dr. Peiman Sadeghi served as a government-appointed legal consultant in accounting and auditing — experience that shapes a careful, compliance-minded approach to every client file. He is currently a USCPA candidate.
Today, his focus is practical: helping individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and small businesses stay organized, understand their numbers, and make informed decisions — delivered with the same personal attention regardless of the size of the file.
